Bugatti TypeZero Concept Is a Single-Seater Dream
Models like the Type 35 and Type 37 are steeped in racing history, and are also some of the most evocative cars from the company’s past.
French designer Marc Devauze took a look at the Veyron’s predecessors and decided to try and replicate some of that glory in a more modern shape. The Type 35s might have been racing legends in their time, but compared to this, they look like trash bins.
It’s called the TypeZero Concept and it’s a single seater with racing suspension and no roof or windshield. It’s designed as an an electric racer with two batteries located next to the driver and four motors.
We think it looks a lot like that Wiesmann Spyder shown in Geneva last year, though it might just be the color.
