Having two sport bikes such as a Ducati and a Buell mixed together in a new hybrid is one thing we didn't see coming. However, Mike Lima and Alain Bernard of Santiago Chopper have been known for a long time to think differently, and they though such a project would be cool. Now, taking a look at their Bucati, we just wonder why haven't they done it earlier...

The Santiago guys used a '98 Buell S1 Lightning as the base model and took the subframe and tail section from a Ducati just as old. A completely new swingarm was needed and so a Chainsickle-loaded one came in place.

The new swingarm also required that the battery box and oil tank be repositioned, so they went to the left side of the bike. The original injection system has also been removed and replaced by a CR carburetor with 38mm intakes.

With fenders removed and the Bucati stripped of all unnecessary bits and pieces, the project looks as cool as it scream asphalt aggression. This might not be the best bike for commuting, but if track days are your favorite treat, you could really torment your buddies with this awesome evil black build. Seen on Cyril Huze.
