Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Spotted in a Tesla Model S

He is one half of Hollywood's power couple, a great actor every guy wants to look like and every girl wants to date. But there's one thing that was missing from Bran Pitt's arsenal for him to be truly considered an Angelino, and that's an electric car.

Because normal hybrids are way too mainstream, all the famous people from California want to be seen in a Tesla Model S. This lines Elon Musk's pockets in green, but somebody's got to make the most popular EV in the world.

Pitt was spotted two days ago as he was leaving a hotel in a blacked out, full-spec Model S. By driving it, he joins the Hollywood tree hugging elite, right up there with DiCaprio, who's been Tesla's #1 supporter since day 1.

The Hollywood actor is by no means your typical car guy. Despite being able to afford just about any supercar, he's often seen around the streets of the city on custom motorcycles, once in a while doing the weekend shop in an SUV.

Just about the only car related news about him on the internet is a wonky report from 2009 saying Brad Pitt would play none other than the king-of-cool himself, Steve McQueen. Which makes us wonder what the Bullitt chase scene would look like today if it were done with a Tesla Model S.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
