Therefore, the tuner prepared a special look for all cars that leave the plants of the Daimler group wearing the AMG package. Their kit includes a new stainless steel exhaust system, an AMG-style rear diffuser, a new rear spoiler and a fresh front splitter as their performance package offering.

You can also get a nice 25 mm (1 inch) drop in the ride height to get closer to the ground and race your car to the limit or, if you like, you can go the either way. Brabus offers you the chance to increase ground clearance by 30 mm (1.18 inches) to attack those steep inclines you always wanted to (?!).

Going inside, you’ll find two-tone stainless steel decorations around the scuff plates, new Brabus back-lit logos on the door sills, matt effect pedals and new door lock pins, all trying to make you feel special. It sounds redundant, doesn’t it?

Well, their biggest achievement came in the engine bay. The 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine under the bonnet of the range-topping GLA45 AMG got bumped up to 400 HP and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, incredible numbers if you think about the displacement. That also allowed them to drop the 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time to 4.4 seconds.

The rest of the range got improvements as well. The GLA 250 4-Matic for example, can be taken up to 245 HP and 385 Nm (284 lb-ft) of torque. Diesels are also part of the deal with the GLA 220 CDI being rated at 210 HP and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) of torque after receiving the Brabus treatment.
