The tuning company took the 3.0-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine and made it more powerful by installing a plug-and-play tuning module into the power unit’s electronics. This auxiliary control unit modified the engine’s mapping for injection and ignition while increasing the boost pressure.

The Merc’s engine is now capable of 410 horsepower and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque, which make the all-wheel-drive C-Class even more dynamic. The model accelerates from a standstill to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds now and its top speed has been increased to 174 mph (280 km/h) by eliminating the electronic speed limiter.

To enjoy your car the most, Brabus recommends the installation of the quad sports exhaust, featuring an electronically controlled system of butterfly valves activated from the cockpit. When driving through town, the “Coming Home” default setting makes the C450 even quieter than with the stock exhaust. But when going for a long drive and a tunnel comes right ahead, open the valves, your window, downshift, and power (imagine Jeremy Clarkson is yelling)!

The engine was not the only thing Brabus modified, as its designers developed tailor-made aerodynamic components from high-grade PUR in OEM quality, including a front spoiler attached to the production bumper, central spoiler blade and outer sections shaped like flaps inspired by motor racing, and they also reduced lift on the front axle, for better stability at high rates of speed.

The rear end comes with a rear diffuser, and the C 450 Sedan can be upgraded with the Brabus rear spoiler made from naked carbon.

The car sits on 19-inch Monoblock S wheels, specially developed for the 4Matic variant. The alloy wheels feature five double spokes extending all the way to the outer flange.

Brabus designers didn’t forget about the interior, which can also be customized to owner preferences. The range offers aluminum pedals, high-quality floor mats, scuff plates with backlit Brabus logo, leather interior made from Alcantara, and wood trim sets or carbon trim sets that can be manufactured in whatever color the owner wants.
