If the ML63 AMG standard output of 518 hp, from its twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine is not enough, Brabus has stepped with an answer. Their solution? Give it more grunt! They have increased its horsepower rating to 611 hp, while torque is also up from 700 Nm to 820 Nm.
This, of course, has an effect on the ML’s performance figures, and its 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of 4.5 seconds and electronically-limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) are barely believable, given its less-than-perfect aerodynamic shape and huge bulk.

The increase in power comes courtesy of a new (and louder) stainless steel exhaust system, as well as the addition of a Brabus PowerXtra ‘powerbox’ to the car’s electronic brain. To help keep everything nice and tidy, they have also given it a custom control module for the air suspension, which lowers and stiffens everything up, while the 23-inch rims, with extra-low profile tires improve handling further.

To give it the look that a 611 hp SUV deserves, they have also given it revised front and rear bumpers, with carbon fiber inserts. Inside, the level of customization is only limited by the imagination and wallet of its wealthy prospective buyers, as Brabus will upholster the interior in pretty much any high-end material, as well as swap the standard trim pieces for others made out of wood or real carbon fiber.
