Brabus 700 Puts a Stormtrooper Look on the G63 AMG

The most extreme and interesting car of 2013 was without a doubt the Brabus B63S 700 6x6, a long name given to an even longer 6x6 vehicle, a tank on wheels that shames even Hitler's mightiest parade vehicles.

But let's be serious here, unless you live in Abu Dhabi and your first name is Sheik, driving around in a 6-meter, 4-ton car worth €500,000 is not normal. What you want is the engine from that tank put under the bonnet of a more normal 4x4.

Voila, the G63 AMG fitted with the 700 kit, which lifts output for the 5.5-liter engine to a colossal 700 hp and 980 Nm of torque. Still weighing as much as a house, the vehicle is rather thirsty (17.2 l/100km City – 11.8 l/100km Highway – 13.8 l/100km Average), but you'll get a lot of attention wherever you go.

Like a Star Wars stormtrooper, the G-Wagon comes with a white body accented in black for contrast. Like precision bolt-riffles 23-inch wheels give power and presence while a massive carbon fiber hood sits atop like a massive shield.

Then, there's the engine, which was already one of the best AMG mills around, but is now fitted with gold heat reflection ‘sheathing' for the intake and charge-air pipes. If you don't believe us and aren't accustomed to what Brabus does, take a look at the gallery below and prepare to be amazed.
