German tuner AC Schnitzer revealed to the public its latest BMW tuning offer, kit designed for the BMW Z4 .

This kit makes an already fast car even more race-oriented, with an engine boost from the stock 306 hp to 360 hp. Enough to propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and keep it going until the 286 km/h top speed is achieved.

The German tuner worked on the suspension as well, fitting the Z4 with new sport springs that withstand high lateral forces without unbalancing the car. This translates into improved handling and stability on the road.

The interior wasn’t changed very much, AC Schintzer only added an aluminum cover for the i-Drive controller, aluminum pedal covers and velours floor mats.

For the exterior, the tuner modified the exhaust in order to make it sound better. In their own words “the driving experience is enhanced acoustically and visually by the stainless steel sports rear silencer and the chromed Racing tailpipe trims”.

The Aachen-based tuner equipped the BMW Z4 with 18-inch AC Schnitzer Type IV rims or Type VI wheels in 18, 19 or 20 inch. The front fascia features a chromed grille and custom front spoiler. “New sports fenders, consisting of wheel arches with integral air outlets for improved cooling of the front brakes and chromed deflectors, optimise the side lines of the roadster,” AC Schnitzer says in a release.

One of the more noticeable exterior features is the two-piece rear spoiler that makes the car really stand out. Its design complements the roadster’s lines and has a important role in gluing the back of the car to the road.

The  price for the AC Schnitzer BMW Z4 tuning kit has not yet been revealed.
