BMW X6 Trophy Truck Attacks the Desert [Video]
We all know what the Bavarians are thinking, so let’s see what’s up with the other side. All German Motorsports sits behind the X6 Trophy Truck you see here.
This desert-devouring machine uses BMW's kidney grille and... that's about it - the rest is custom. Oh wait, the engine uses the V8 4.4-liter block from the X6 M.
The truck uses a custom chassis, Fox suspension (it offers 25 inches of suspension travel at the front and 32 inches at the back), and a X6-inspired fiberglass body.
The X6 Trophy truck will make its racing debut at next month's Baja 1000, where it will be manhandled by Armin Schwarz.
