We hear voices coming from the auto industry, saying that people need to stop putting chrome wraps on their cars. While we do agree that it’s a bit much, this is mainly due to the novelty effect.
Take the Easter European colossus nation that is Russia. There, somebody has taken a BMW X5 M and wrapped it in gold. These photos we managed to scoop are among the most exciting we’ve seen in a long time.

And think about it this way: classic architecture is embezzled with gold accents. Louie the 14th furniture is also golden-covered. And nobody can deny Gustav Klimt’s paintings are amazing. All these things are golden, but you don’t see people calling them cheap and class-less. But maybe they did when they were now.

So we guess there’s a point to be made here, and that “give chrome wraps a chance!”
