In a time when Subaru wants to prove that it can do with rear-wheel drive an a driver-focused feel, BMW is taking on competition from Audi by going for smaller turbocharged engines and now all-wheel drive.
Something very interesting has popped up in the US model overview for the new BMW 6-Series, as both the coupe and convertible can now be fitted with the Bavarian xDrive all-wheel drive. Thus, 650i xDrive Convertible and 650i xDrive Coupe are selectable in the BMW USA website.

That means that for $93,500, you’ll be able to grip the road with all four wheels, enjoy the open air of a convertible and race Porsches with your 400 horsepower. All that’s missing now is the 4.4-liter turbocharged monster of an engine that should go in the M6, and we’re all set!
