BMW Sports Concept Sneak Peak

As it announced in the beginning of last month, German manufacturer BMW will unveil a green sports car concept at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show. We come back on the story today to give you the first photo of the concept, as it was leaked on bimmerpost.com.

The crystal clear shot of the possibly named Z Vision Concept follows the same pattern seen on the BMW Gina and Tesla Model S: it shows the car, still in the wraps, being reportedly transported to Frankfurt.

While we are pretty sure the photo is sourced from BMW themselves, we can't but appreciate the effort. Although not much can be seen of the car, the CS Concept like front end can be distinguished form under the cloth, as do the wheel arches. What can't be seen are the side mirrors, as the Z Vision apparently has none.

According to Klaus Draeger, BMW member of the board, the concept will be a "product of sustainable development."

"The BMW EfficientDynamics Vision will demonstrate how efficient a sports car can be. It will also prove that sustainability does not apply to the drive train alone, but to design and materials as well," he added.

Little else is known about the concept, but it promises to usher a new era for BMW. "Anyone who takes a closer look at this concept car will understand the direction in which we are developing our technology. And it will become evident that we will have to dedicate more human and financial resources to this type of development work," the BMW official added.
