British clothing company Belstaff and BMW have joined efforts for a spectacular spring/summer 2015 collection. Recently introduced at the Milan men’s fashion week, the collection includes no less than 14 distinctive leather outfits complemented by knitwear items for a functional and comfort-focused approach to the fashionable apparel.
The collection includes tailored and classic leather jackets, sleeveless jackets, leather trousers and boots. The colors of choice for Belstaff creative director Martin Cooper are grey, brown, dirty yellow and olive green, and the overall attire of the new collection is a retro-infused one. That is, you’ll most likely head over to Belstaff and get geared if you already own or plan to own an older boxer beast or at least the new R nineT café-racer: no signs of S100RR-ish one-piece leathers in sight, however.

As far as the photos show, BMW has also come up with two retro ¾ helmets covered in stitched leather, and proudly displaying both logos. Definitely a great way to make a fashion statement and keep true to the old-school heritage of the brands, both founded in the 1920’s.

The new spring/summer 2015 collection will be available at Belstaff stores and in select BMW dealerships around the world in the near future. No prices have been mentioned, but we simply cannot expect anything cheap from either manufacturer. Anyway, if stylish looks matter to you as much as riding does, or even more, then maybe it’s easier to understand why you’d ditch your old Alpinestars leathers for Belstaff ones.
