BMW M6 with a Quilted Interior Belongs to Prior Design at Essen 2014

Prior Design launched the PD6XX kit for the BMW M6 back in March but even so, we couldn’t help but take a look at it when we saw it on the company’s stand at Essen. Since we also had our camera with us, a couple of photos were needed.

The PD6XX kit is mainly made up of the exterior aero bits that are made of a unique Fiberglass-Duraflex mix, as Prior Design claims. According to them this material is characterized by an excellent surface finish that provides sufficient flexibility combined with high stability and allows for easy and inexpensive painting as opposed to using Carbon Fiber, for example.

For the M6 line-up, the aerodynamic elements are made up of a PD6XX front bumper with massive air intakes, a new rear bumper, side skirts, completely new front fenders (with a wider profile), rear fender widenings, a trunk spoiler and a vented bonnet. Of course, you can get all of these parts separately if you want.

Inside, the range of options is basically unlimited but, as we said, the quilted leather makes a strong case for itself, looking absolutely brilliant, no matter what combination of colors you go for.

Other parts you can get for your BMW 6 Series from Prior Design include a new set of rear mufflers. However, these are only available for 650i models and are made of stainless steel with ceramic coated aluminum made endpipes.
