BMW M6 Lowered on Asymmetrical TWOFACE 3-Piece Wheels from MbDESIGN

The annual Worthersee car meet has a habit of attracting the weirdest tuning projects from across Europe. This one takes the cake though, as German wheel specialists mbDESIGN GmbH have revealed a brand new wheel design they called "TWOFACE".

Ass the name suggests, this design has something in common with one of Gotham City's villains, as the face of the alloy is split down the middle. One half has regular split spokes with blue accents, the other boasts three circles in a design similar to the Teledial classics.

We had a quick chat with the guys who made these funky wheels, and they told us anything from 18 to 21 inches was possible. The 5-hole hub can be had in 98, 100, 108, 110, 112, 114.3, 115, 120 and 140 spacings. That means you can use it on anything from a regular Golf to a Porsche 911. The colors can be changed depending on the customer demands, with prices ranging from €950 to €1,240 per individual wheel, tax not included.

MbDESIGN wanted to show something completely original and cool, which we think they've managed. You'll get to see their work at this year's GTI Treffen, which has earned the nickname Worthersee 2K15.

As for the car, it's pretty much a stock Bimmer with a bagged suspension system, courtesy of Dropped Monkeys. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with the BMW M6. This previous-generation model was equipped with a naturally aspirated V10 that we think sounded a lot like a Formula 1 car. The 5-liter block was good for over 500 horsepower, and many people still say the old M6 was a more honest sports coupe than the current model, which is more of a fast GT.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
