Everybody knows that the BMW M3 is the Joker of the sports coupe  world, while the Audi RS5 is a more serious Jack of Hearts. This new model though, the new M4 coupe, is the Royal Straight Flush, the King, the Queen and the Ace up BMW's sleeve.
To be honest, the interior is a bit of a letdown compared to Guggenheim inside the new Mercedes C-Class, but the M4 is going to be spectacular to drive. In about a year's time, the general consensus will be that if you want to spend $80,000 on a coupe, you stroll past the Porsche 911 and into a BMW dealership.

After all, the new M not only has tons of torque (550 Nm of it, to be precise), but can also help you do a burnout even if you have the skills of an average driver.

It's an interesting comparison, this M4 versus Porsche 911 Carrera, one which should never be made… and yet. 431 PS (425-hp US spec) from a new 3-liter biturbo engine for just €72,200 (US pricing not available) compared to just 350 hp available in the €90,417 basic Carrera – it's hard not to like the M4.

Besides being a bargain on paper, the M4 also strikes us as a beauty. Sure, the profile is a bit bland, but the front is the coolest of any BMW of the moment. And in this striking Austin Yellow, you will never be able to ignore it.
