BMW Launches New Campaign to Showcase Innovations

With the i8 deliveries taking place all across the US, starting with the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance models, the BMW North American branch launched a new marketing campaign. This time focused on the innovations brought along by the i sub-brand.
The letter ‘i’ stands for innovation in the first place so every model that is currently sold under this moniker and the ones that will follow will be striving to offer things other manufacturers can’t, at least at the time of their launch.

“Innovation is at the core of everything we do. Following in the lead of the BMW i8, which epitomizes innovation, we are elevating the technology across our entire range of BMW models, as highlighted in this national campaign,” said Trudy Hardy, Vice President, Marketing, BMW of North America.

Therefore, starting today, three new television spots will be debuting on a variety of channels, looking to introduce the people to the technology imbued in the i8 and i3 as well as other models in the range.

‘Looking Forward’ will be showcasing the new color head-up display first introduced on the i8 but also available on other cars down to the 3 Series while the second video, “Change” will be aiming to shed some light into the LED technology used in the headlights of the i8 and 5 Series.

Last, but not least, “Eyes Everywhere” talks about the iDrive screen and the Surround Camera System in the BMW X3 and i8. Thanks to this new system, you get a 360 degree panorama view around the vehicle that’s most useful not only when parking but also when negotiating tight spaces with limited visibility.
