Usually, the fans of JDM tuning don’t mix too well with those into German engineering. As a matter of fact, some could call them opposing factions as the debates they spark seem to be never-ending. But what would happen if someone was bold enough to combine them? Well, you get this.
UK-based master renderer known as Khyzyl Saleem, one of the up and coming prodigies in the biz (by the way, he recently started working for Electronic Arts) wanted to so something special based on the E30 M3. It doesn’t get more German than that.

However, he’s also a fan of the JDM culture, so he integrated some cues from Japan into the mix. For example, you can notice the new mirrors sitting on the front fenders, reminding us of the early Skylines or the flared wheel arches housing massive wheels along with the huge wing at the back.

Up front, the bumper was changed to one that resembles GT3 cars and seems to be housing the intakes for two massive turbos as well but we can’t tell for sure due to the low res of the photos.

Even so, the rendering looks impressive, and we really don’t mind it, to be honest. However, we’re pretty sure it’s bound to spark some discussions here and there, most of them leading to... nothing positive!

Usually, fans of the German engineering camp claim that Japanese cars lack torque and have to be revved too high to be enjoyable. At the same time, the other camp claims that the European cars are simply too heavy and too expensive. Looking at this rendering one can’t help but wonder if we could all live in peace and harmony and be done with all these debates.
