The watercraft is 57-foot long and will be available in two engine options that include 2×670hp endurance and a 2×800hp power option. The former has a cruising range of 350 nautical miles and a top speed of 31 knots, while the latter has 300 nautical miles range with a top speed of 35 knots.

Despite using circular portholes, like most boats of its size do, Intermarine 55 instead goes for large trapezoids that offer a greater amount of light and excellent ocean views.

The boat accommodates six people and one sailor. According to its manufacturer, the owner can customize fabrics and woods.
