Even wondered how it would be like to be Superman? How strong you'd be, how noble and, most of all, how interesting your vision would get? The thing is, Superman's X-Ray vision is probably one of the things people would want the most.
Sure, the reasons would differ but for us, gearheads, the most important one would refer to our cars. We know just how annoying some issues with your car can be, especially when you don't know exactly what's wrong with it.

You hear that clunking noise every time you go over a pot hole or you have a leaking hose that leaves a pesky pond under your car every night. And yet, finding out exactly what the problem is can take too long and be exhausting. That's where some x-ray vision would come in handy.

Unfortunately, we can't turn you into Superman but we can offer you the next best thing: this cutaway illustrations. As you're about to see, some of them are really old, going back to the BMW 507 or even the 2002 and took extremely long hours to draw as most of them are hand-made (there simply was no other way of doing this back then). The artists that made them are probably no longer with us but their work will continue to please thousands of people.

So, check them out and you might just find the car you're currently driving and learn a thing or two about it. We sure did!
