BMW Cancells X6 Active Hybrid

The BMW X6 Active Hybrid was always a strange automotive creation that was some sort of definition of "jack of all trades and master of none". This is the conclusion we came to when we tested the car last year.

Now it seems that BMW has realized that the X6 Active Hybrid makes no sense and is ending production. You see, the car is way too heavy in order to offer the expected economy, not being too far from what the "normal" version of the X6 offer.

And yes, at 480 hp, this is one muscular beast, but it is priced so high that you're way better off opting for the proper go-fast machine in the X6 range, the one touched by the M division. Do that and you'll get to play with 555 hp.

So, this is it, the end of the line for the X6 Active Hybrid.
