Therefore, a quick 60 seconds clip was put together showcasing the winning DNA infused in today’s racing cars and even some of those road legal crazy M vehicles.

Over nearly 10 decades, the BMW roundel and their trademark kidney grille claimed victories in all sorts of events, from the Nurburgring Endurance races to the Formula 1 rings, everything was covered over the years.

The clip showcases the most iconic cars of the Motorsport history in Bavaria, going from the legendary BMW 328 to the 3.0CSL, M1 supercar, E30 M3 and even down to the current day BMW Z4 GTE and GT3.

The future also looks good, even though Formula 1 is no longer included in the company’s plans. The M4 DTM model is set to start in the DTM later on this year, hoping for a new trophy, if not in the driver’s championship, at least in the overall, manufacturer’s.

In the US, the Z4 GTE and GT3 models will race in the unified TUDOR United SportsCar Championship that replaces the ALMS and Rolex Sports Car Series and in other various events too, like the 12 Hours of Sebring that will take place this Saturday.
