BMW 1-Series M Coupe by AC Schnitzer Unveiled

To most BMW fans, the 1-Series M Coupe is about as good as it gets. It’s got rear wheel drive, it has never heard that the pistons in engines can be installed in a V shape and is as BMW as Bavaria itself.

We’re tired of telling you that tuners who think they can do better than manufacturers, so we won’t. However, what AC Schnitzer has pulled off is nothing short of stunning. The German customizers host of products for the 1M, and to show the all off, they’ve built this particular one that will land in Frankfurt next week.

The 1er has become even more hardcore and aggressive, thanks in part to all the carbon fiber jewelry it now sports. The most prominent feature is that front chin spoiler that also emphasizes the new chrome lower grille. The bonnet now has vents in it, which we really don’t like since they scream aftermarket.

AC Schnitzer can fit their custom lightweight alloys in 19 and 20-inch sizes, plus a boot lid spoiler and diffuser made from carbon fiver.

The interior is a thing of custom beauty, with the seat stitching looking especially nice. There’s also a painted center console, a sports steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara, Valencia Orange interior trim and an aluminum gear knob and handbrake.

Did we mention the car now has 400 horsepower? Guess we forgot!
