Brushed aluminum is definitely not your average car wrap. It's a hard look to pull off well, especially since the pattern in the vinyl will easily reveal any wrapping flaws. Imagine our surprise when seeing somebody had wrapped the ugliest of Bimmers in the stuff.
This project targets a very average-looking 1 Series five-door hatchback, which is first retrofitted with a full M body kit for a more aggressive look. After that a two-tone wrap is applied, brushed blue for most of the car and brushed metallic black for details like the intakes, door handles and lower bumper.
Responsible for wrap is Hong Kong specialist company Wrap Workz, who provided us with a full set of photos and a video of the 1 Series after it was finished. So what do you guys think, have they brushed some beauty into the car or is it too flashy?
