Emily Brooke, the lady behind the Blaze Kickstarter projects describes the Blaze Burner as being focused on performance, safety and simplicity. We analyzed the Blaze Burner and have to agree with Emily completely; this is a superior product that CAN and WILL make cycling safer.
It will not eliminate dumb, careless or ignorant drivers, but it will increase the cyclists' chances of making it back home in one piece. The project became overfunded on Kickstarter a long time ago and raised as much as four times the 35,000 GBP Emily asked for.

With more than a day left (at the time of writing) for backing the Blaze Burner, the project now sits comfortably with a £141,951 figure, which accounts for €195,068 or $211,936, so things will be on the move soon.

Blaze Burner is a LED light module for bicycles. It includes 24 LEDs that generate 100 lumens, and which are lit automatically thanks to a light sensor. Of course, the Blaze Burner has a manual mode, too, so you don't need to worry it will turn on by itself.

As a mounting solution, Emily's team used a magnetic bracket which can also be rotated in a horizontal or vertical position. Snapping on and off is easy as pie, and reportedly, the Blaze Burner will "heroically" remain in its place even when riding on very rough terrain.

More than 180-degrees visibility and the IP7 waterproof aluminum casing are also strong selling points

Blaze Burner comes with a sturdy aluminum casing that protects it in case you drop the module. The whole thing is waterproof and dirt-resistant, so you can abuse it in inclement weather conditions and still rest assured it works alright. The module, in fact, comes with IP7 waterproof certification.

Another cool thing about the Blaze Burner is its visibility angle. Its creators claim that the Blaze Burner has more than 180 degrees of visibility, and this makes the cyclist using it better seen in low light conditions.

Recharging is made via USB and a full battery lasts for a month under normal use. That is 41.77 hours. Even when set to Super Bright, the Blaze Burner will last for more than 7 hours.

If you go to the Kickstarter page for the Blaze Burner, you can still have it for a discounted price of £39. Shipping is expected in April 2016.
