British luxury car manufacturer Bentley has introduced the Mulsanne Shaheen at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, joining rivals from Rolls-Royce in the Middle-East exclusive special editions battle.
The new vehicle draws its inspiration from the Shaheen eagle, "a bird of prey that is embedded in Middle Eastern culture and society", and features a two-tone exterior paint (Tungsten over Onyx), 21-inch alloy wheels and a glass sunroof.

Inside, the Shaheen edition is fitted with Magnolia and Beluga leather, Dark Stained Burr walnut veneer, and a bespoke signature Mulsanne Shaheen logo on the rear iPad picnic tables.

The Mulsanne Shaheen is powered by Bentley's familiar twin-turbo 6.75-liter V8 engine that delivers 512 HP and 752 lb-ft of torque via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The sedan accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 184 mph (296 km/h).

“The Middle East is the biggest market for our flagship Mulsanne, so this year we really wanted to create a car especially for our customers here. Our in-house Mulliner design team from the factory in Crewe, UK spoke directly with many Mulsanne customers to create this limited addition Mulsanne Shaheen”.
