Bentley Mulsanne Le Mans Edition Headed for Pebble Beach Debut

Introduced back in May, the Bentley Mulsanne Le Mans Limited Edition will be showcased at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance later this week, the British automaker announced today. Developed to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the first Le Mans 24 Hours race, along with five other Bentley models, the Mulsanne Le Mans Limited Edition will be built in only 48 units and sold only in North America.

The special edition luxury sedan will feature will feature diamond-quilted seat covering and door panels, alloy foot pedals, sports tuned suspension and steering, 'Quad' Effect Tailpipe Finishers and two-piece five spoke dark tint alloy wheels. Also, each vehicle will come with a unique Le Mans Edition numbered badge, embroidered Le Mans headrest badge and specific exterior colors and interior veneers.

The Mulsanne Le Mans Limited Edition won’t be the only vehicle Bentley showcased in Monterey. The British company will also show the Continental Le Mans Edition, the Continental GT3 race car, as well as six rare classic models that will be auctioned by Bonhams and RM Auctions.

"2013 is the 90th Anniversary of the first Le Mans 24 Hours race, in which Bentley was the only British marque to participate, and also the 10th Anniversary of the most recent win for the Speed 8 in 2003," said Christophe Georges, COO of Bentley Motors America. "Pebble Beach, for us, is the ideal place to debut and display our Le Mans Limited Edition Mulsanne model and to showcase our flagship vehicle in its Limited Edition livery to a very knowledgeable audience of automotive enthusiasts and Bentley owners from around the world."
