Recent research shows that the most popular vehicles among Premier League football players are SUVs and Bayern Munchen’s defender Jerome Boateng is definitely one of them. The 25-year old sportsman recently posted an image of his Mercedes-Benz G63 after it got a Prior Design body kit improvement.
We might have cheated a bit. The research made by Oracle Finance suggests that SUV’s are preferred by Premier League football players, but there is no G-Wagon included in the chart. To be more precise, data compiled from the last five years suggests 28 players have financed Range Rover through Oracle. Not surprisingly though, the Bentley Continental GT came in close second with 26 registrations. BMW X5, Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne are also among the “winners.”

However, there are more than a couple of football celebrities that are very fond of the G-Wagon. This time we’re talking about Jerome Boateng’s freshly customized G 63 AMG. The 25-year old football player just posted a picture with the car. Even though it’s not the entire package, it seems the G-Wagon got a new aerodynamic body kit from Prior. The grill is Mercedes’ original, but the hood, front and rear widenings are all made from dura-flex fiber reinforced plastic.

The off-roader has a murdered-out look, while still keeping its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. And like all these famous people do nowadays, the football player also has his name's initials graved in the front, so people know who owns it.
