Today’s tuning scene is filled with all sorts of options for your car. You can basically change anything you like on it and in the shortest amount of time as well. To emphasize the importance tuning has these days, we’ll remind you that even manufacturers themselves bring out all sorts of add-on parts for their cars as soon as they launch them.

It’s also the case of BMW, with its M Performance Parts that, in the case of the M4 for example, were announced as soon as the car came out. And while for some they seem rather redundant, the OEM+ tuning is the way to go if you ask us.

That’s because it enhances the way your car looks like, sounds like or drives while keeping its character intact. And who knows better what works and doesn’t on a car than its original creator?

That being said, when we saw what the guys from BR-Performance put together we were kind-of taken aback. Sure, the photos done by Dennis Noten Photography do paint a favorable picture, but you also have to have something to work with in the first place to get these perfect shots.

So what did they actually do? Well, as you can see, they started off with a perfectly good canvas from the start. The M4 came ‘dressed’ in an Individual color from the get-go, the famous and infamous Azurite Black we’ve all grown to love. That alone set the owner, Dimitri, back EUR1,950…

That was only the basis for the final project though. Then came a complete Eibach Pro Kit to give the M4 a new stance along with a full Akrapovic evolution system with carbon tips at the back. Let’s face it, the titanium silver wouldn’t have cut it.

To complete everything off, the complete M Performance Parts catalogue was added to the mix, including the steering wheel, black kidney grilles up front, black side gills, carbon fiber mirror caps, front splitters and rear spoiler. The cabin wasn’t left out either, being decked with a carbon fiber selector lever, and a new M Performance parking brake handle with some Alcantara included in the mix.

The end product can be thoroughly admired in the photo gallery below but we’d appreciate it if you told us what you prefer: this or something more radical.
