Following up its Rubicon Trail-tackling SCX10 radio controlled Jeep Wrangler, Axial Racing has just released its latest scaled-down off-roader inspired by the Ram Power Wagon. Like the Wrangler, this SCX10 Ram Power Wagon was created with an amazing attention to detail and the ability to traverse just about any terrain.
Down to the last detail, the 1/10th scale SCX10 Ram Power Wagon is an impressive replica of the recently announced 2014 Ram Power Wagon from the LED parking lights and simulated front winch to the crazy body graphics. In its stock form, this RC Power Wagon has a standard cargo bed, but a trophy truck inspired rear end is also available with a roll cage, realistic diamond plating and a spare tire mount. Finishing off this impressive RC truck, the SCX10 Ram Power Wagon even features officially licensed Walker Evans Racing wheels.

Under the plastic body, the Power Wagon uses the same chassis as the SCX10 Jeep Wrangler, which, like any “Trail Rated” Jeep, is able to conquer the Rubicon Trail. This starts with the c-channel steel frame and four-wheel drive, while the four-link rear suspension, hardened steel axles and adjustable coil-over shocks provide plenty of ruggedness for off-roading. For optimal cargo capacity (yes, it can haul stuff) and traction while rock crawling, the battery tray is located over the front axle.

While the full-scale 2014 Ram Power Wagon is powered by a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 producing 410 hp 429 lb-ft of toque, the SCX10 Power Wagon uses an Axial-developed electric motor, which means there’s no need for fuel and no noisy exhaust. As you see it in the above image, the SCX10 Ram Power Wagon is priced at $359 ready to roll with all of the motors, gear units and controller, but this price does not include a battery or charger. Check out the video of the SCX10 Ram Power Wagon in action.
