This, ladies and gentlemen, was a brand new Lamborghini Aventador, a prime example of Italian supercar… before, that is, it was brutally crashed in Thailand. Belonging to Mr Somkiat Kruwongpaiboon, 45, a local businessman, the car saw the wrong end of a number of an electric pole and received a lot of damage.
The owner says his tire blew up, causing him to spin and hit electric poles and trees before coming to a stop. Mr. Somkiat told police he was driving from Bangkok to attend his father′s funeral.

He told police that he only sustained minor injuries because he was protected by the diamond-encrusted amulet of Great Garuda he was wearing during the accident.
