Aussie Audi A4 Gets 2.0 TFSI Engine
- Audi now has the 2.0 TFSI version in Australia
- The engine develops 207 HP and 350 Nm of torque
- Prices start at $73,900 (sedan) and $76,730 (Avant)
The 2.0 TFSI engine develops 155 kW (207 horsepower) and 350 Nm of torque. It was voted at the International Engine of the Year awards as being the best-in-class engine, in the 1.8l-2.0l category. It also uses Audi's Valvelift System AVS which varies the lift of the exhaust valves and provides better performance with greater fuel economy.
The Audi A4 2.0l TFSI is already available in Australia. It is equipped with the already familiar intuitive MMI control system, new Audi drive select, Lane Assist, Side Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.
As for comfort, the new addition to the A4 range comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, Xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime running lights, electric driver and front passenger seat with lumbar support and multifunction sports steering wheel.
The need for in-car infotainment is satisfied with the aid of a Symphony sound system with 6-disc CD player with MMI operating logic and a 6.5-inch color screen. The Audi comes with Bluetooth mobile phone preparation and Advanced Key with keyless entry and start.
"A benchmark for efficiency and performance in its category, the 2.0l TFSI is great example of an engine that’s so flexible it can deliver the right solution for a variety of different vehicles," the jury of the aforementioned competition said upon awarding Audi.
