Audi TT RS Plus Coupe Quattro in the Works
The new model is said to generate a maximum of 360 horsepower, a boost of 20 horsepower that could result in much higher performance levels if Audi also works on the overall weight of the car. As it happens in this kind of reports, Audi has remained tightlipped on the subject but, according to the leaked document, the launch is likely to take place in May, so more information is expected to take place in the near future.
This new variation of the TT RS Coupe is very likely to be exclusively addressed to the European market, as the American flavor already packs 360 horsepower although power is provided by the same 2.5-liter TFSI turbocharged engine.
The carmaker has not published too many technical specifications of the American version but the performance figures should be improved as compared to the European model. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is expected to be done in just 4.6 seconds, while the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
As we mentioned, the new TT RS should be released in a few months, so expect more details to emerge soon.
