Audi S8 Commercial: Bank Robbery Suspect [Video]

You know how when you’re walking behind somebody at night, you know that person is instinctively scared to be robbed? Well, Audi thinks the same sort of thing works when you’re behind the wheel of an Audi R8 - you just know security guards are concerned about being robbed by the perfect getaway car.

Audi is celebrating the launch of the S8 sports luxury saloon with a commercial in which not everything is what it seems. Instead of waiting for the perfect moment to snatch the money, the Audi driver is just waiting for his girl who went to get them coffee.

This is a great commercial! You can just see the wheel turing in the S8 driver’s head: “I can do this, this is the perfect time to snatch those bags and be gone.”

Has the S8 got what it takes to outrun the law? We thing so - the new 4.0-liter TFSI that’s also used by Bentley’s Continental GT, pushing out no less than 520 horsepower to get you from zero to 60 in 3.9 seconds.
