We’re still dying to see the facelifted Audi R8, which we though was coming to Frankfurt but now looks like a 2012 reveal. So a fresh take on the almost classic looks of this mid-engined sportscar got us all hot and bothered.
We’re talking about the R8 Toxique created body kit that was created by TC Concepts. The car has been lowered significantly and sits on massive tires with rubber so thin it looks like a strip of paint.

At the front, the R8 looks to have received a lot of styling elements from the RS line - huge bulging air intakes and a bit of splitter action.

Down the side, the blades of the intake have been blended in, resulting in a much more focused appearance in combination with some fresh skirts.

Round the back, we have a fresh racing wing made from carbon fiber and massive diffuser made from the same light-weight material.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
