Rumor has it that Audi and Ducati are planning to introduce their own version of a Can-Am Spyder, called the Stryker Cabriolet.
The Stryker Cabriolet is supposed to be powered by the smae 2298cc Testastreta 11º which can be currently found in the Multistrada and Diavel machines. Given the fact that the Can-Am Spyders are selling quite well in the US, it's only small wonder to see the Stryker Cabriolet in North American Ducati dealerships quite soon.

In case this hold out to be true, it's another confirmation of older riders leaving the sport segment for the street and touring bikes, which has been seen during the last years. The Audi Ducati Stryker Cabriolet may come with a $20,000 price tag (€15,615), and Ducati News Today says that an S version will also be available, with Termignoni exhausts and multiple other undisclosed upgrades.

With 160 HP and noticeably more torque, the Stryker Cabriolet will most likely benefit from Audi’s ASR and ESC traction and stability control systems, the Bosch ABS and dual mapping allowing riders to choose either 80 or 120 HP alongside the top power. Again, maybe this is not an April 1 joke.
