It looks like the all-new Tamburini T12 Massimo is the most expensive motorcycle in the world. At least, this will be the case if the price we found for it turns out to be the correct one.
Cutting to the chase, it seems that getting a Tamburini T12 Massimo is a €300,000 affair, well above what the most expensive limited-run motorcycles go for. That is, in US dollars, a whopping $341,000 check that has to reach the makers of the T12 before they start crafting one for you.

Now, the price is, obviously, immense. Instead of a banana for scale, we'll remind you that the MotoGP-derived Honda RC213V-S is "only" a €200,000 ($227,500) bike, which sounds almost doable compared to the T12.

We're no MotoGP riders, but something tells us that the T12 has all the odds of being a much better, faster, and more enjoyable bike than the Honda. For starters, the RC213V-S can produce 215 horsepower, and only when equipped with the Race Kit (12 grand from the €200,000 price). In stock trim, the Honda is only good for some 159 hp, which don't stand a chance against certain models the competition has on the street already.

As opposed to the MotoGP spin-off, the T12 Massimo is already at the 230 hp bar, and considering how vile the stock S1000RR engine is, having a tuned one between one's legs should be a transfigurating experience. Also, the T12 IS like an actual premier class bike, thanks to the patented suspension that permits variations in the bike's architecture.

Put the T12 in the hands of a mechanic that knows what he or she is doing, and this bike will be really hard to catch up with on the track. Now, back to the price issue, the Tamburini T12 Massimo clearly is not a machine for everyone, but we are glad to see that more units can be produced and there is a price linked to it.

People with money to spend are not THAT hard to find in the motorcycle world, and with the tag of being the most extreme and complex bike created by Massimo Tamburini, we'd rather say this machine is already a cult one.
