This splendid sounding car is the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S designed as successor of the V12 Vantage Coupe. It was presented officially only a few weeks ago and is scheduled to hit the market late in the year, but is it ready? Well… no, not really.
The British engineers have been spotted testing the V12 Vantage S recently at the Nurburgring, meaning the real setup is not yet ready. The setup seems a little on the understeer side for a car that has so much power.
The sportscar will certainly not be wanting for power. Even though it's one of the smallest coupes on the market, it has more power than a BMW M6, 573 PS (565 bhp) and 620 Nm of torque. Because the chassis is smaller, this allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, faster than the Vanquish. For those who understand metric, that's 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.9 seconds.
