Aston Martin Inaugurates Flagship Beijing Dealership
The new store has am impressive size of 500 square meters, thus being twice as big as Aston’s other two dealerships in Beijing. It is located at 66 Jinbao Street, Chaoyang District and will accommodate seven of the company’s exclusive vehicles, as Chinadaily reports.
"Not to be represented in the main capital of the premier Asian market, which is going to become the premier world market, would be a mistake," Matthew Bennett, regional director of Aston Martin Asia-Pacific, was quoted as saying by Chinadaily.
Some markets come alive at different times of the year. This time of year is when Beijing is at its most lively, Bennett added.
Aston Market took full advantage of the event, as the company also used the occasion to unveil its latest model, the Rapide sedan, to the Asian market. According to the same source, a few deposits on the Rapide have already been made during the event.
"Whatever the situation is in the economy if you have a great product, you will be successful and if you have a bad product you will suffer," Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin told METRO, describing the company’s way of handling the economic crisis.
This statement seems to be true not only for the aforementioned event but for also the company’s current global activity: as we've previously reported, Aston Martin is entering multiple new markets in 2010 and it is also preparing the introduction of its first minicar, the Aston Martin Cygnet.
