BMW might come up with a sporty tourer bike, rumor has it. Motorrad magazine apparently ran a sketch signed by Stefan Kraft of S-Kraft, showing a semi-naked machine which could easily pass as an upcoming S1000F bike.
According to the same sources, this 2015 bike could be powered by an engine derived form the one in the S1000R naked beast, but with revised power and torque deployment to make it more streetable in less-than-ideal road conditions.
The potential bike could thus become a nifty rival for the likes of the Ducati Multistrada, especially when loaded with all the cool features new BMW motorcycles are endowed with: ABS, traction control, Dynamic Damping Control for suspensions, and all.
In case the rumor turns out to be true, we might see the bike introduced in late 2014 as a 2015 model, and filling an empty space in BMW's line-up.
While the bike pictured above is obviously the BMW S1000R, the bike uppon which the F-version is supposed to be built, you can see a sketch of the new bike on insella.
