Amusing Incident on Chinese Highway - Domino Fence [Video]

This is definitely something you don’t see every day. The green fence which splits the highway longitudinally was probably touched by an inattentive driver who knocked it down, causing the entire fence to fall over onto its side, in a domino-style manner

It took a mere 30 seconds for 1.5 km (0.9 miles) of fence to tumble down, and a lot longer to put back up, we would imagine. The incident was caught on CCT cameras, and apparently, it’s not the first time that this has happened, as it had been preceded by a similar event, but 10 days prior - we also say it’s not the last time this will happen, as that fence looks really prone to such incidents, as it is oddly not fixed to the ground.

We say that this was a flaw in the fence’s design, or the improper use of an improper type of fence for the job. However, we are still amused at the event, and we must admit that it is one of the funniest videos not involving a crash that we have seen in recent weeks.
