All-New 2014 Lexus IS Sedan to Be Revealed at Detroit Auto Show
We already knew that a replacement would be unveiled next year, finally removing the model that has been on sale since 2005 from this market. But now, we know just how soon that will be.
The Japanese luxury automaker has officially announce that the 2014 IS sedan will be all-new and will debut at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit, where we’ll get to check it out for you.
"Inspired by the acclaimed LF-CC concept and with design cues of the LFA, the new IS has been completely redesigned, inside and out,” the official statement reads.
The LF-CC concept was shown with a new powertrain that they promised will go into production. So there’s a high likelihood a brand new version called the IS 300h will be launched, powered by a 2.5-liter direct injection engine and assisted by an electric motor.
