Update: We have live photos of the 4C Spider from the Geneva Motor Show 2015. It's the same car we saw in Detroit back in January, still stunning, sitll 100% Italian. Scroll down to through the gallery below or click the following link to jump right in.
After showing the brand new 4C Spider for the first time in Detroit, Alfa Romeo has eyed the Geneva Motor Show as its go-to place for the European debut. Ahead of that, the Italian firm also released new photos which we'd argue do the car justice.

Available in every major European market except for Switzerland, the 4C Spider will be available soon from the starting price of 60,403 euros, not including VAT and other taxes. That's not exactly cheap, especially when compared to the Porsche Cayman. But if you think of it as a Ferrari 458 Spider with a smaller engine, it suddenly starts to make sense.

The open-top version features a targa top that only adds a few kilograms to the weight of the car, which is why we included the 4C in our list of the best targa-top cars of the moment. It also means you can enjoy more of the sights and sounds provided by the 1750cc all-aluminum turbocharged direct injection engine with intercooler and dual CVVT, which thanks to its 240 PS output ensures to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Unlike early 4C models, the Spider can be configured with more traditional clear headlights, but the insect-like carbon fiber ones are also available.

Unfortunately, there's no mention of the track package and Akrapovic exhaust available announced for the American market, nor are they visible in the photo gallery.

Also on display with a Rosso Competizione Red Tri-coat color scheme is the Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe, the latest brand icon whose "breathtaking design and superb performance capture the essence of the sporting spirit. It is no surprise that, since its launch at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, this seductive coupe has attracted a steady flow of international awards and plaudits."
