Alfa Romeo Giulia Rumored to Get Tri-Turbo V6 Engine Co-Developed with Maserati

As far as wild rumors regarding the Alfa Romeo Giulia go, this one is by far the wildest one yet. This one, coming from autoforum.cz states that the upcoming Giulia is, in fact, being co-developed with Maserati and will have rear-wheel drive after all.

Not only that, but the same source states that an all-new tri-turbocharged V6 engine could power the top-of-the-range versions, or the GTA. This, coupled with rumors surrounding the possibility that Maserati may create a BMW 5-Series rival, means that the Alfa Giulia could, in fact, share a platform with the ‘baby Quattroporte’.

We wonder why Alfa Romeo don’t just come out and set the story straight, in an official fashion, because there are thousands of people who are genuinely waiting for confirmation on any of the rumors that have been floating about.
