Adventure Riders Held At Gunpoint Near Area 51 Entrance

Area 51’s secrets are still being guarded 24/7 by armed troops inside and out the perimeter. How do we know? Well, these two adventure riders ventured one too many times around the base and eventually got held at gunpoint by some of the guards.

At this point, I’m pretty sure everyone with a TV or Internet access has heard about the Area 51, but if you just crawled out of a cave, the site is a remote detachment of Edwards Aid Force Base, within the Nevada Test and Training Range.

Although CIA prefers to mainly call it the Homey Airport and Groom Lake, it did appear under the “Area 51” name in one of the agency’s Vietnam War document. Other nicknames for the facility include Paradise Ranch, Home Base, and Watertown.

The purpose of the base is not known even today, but judging by its history and the intense secrecy surrounding it, the base might be a development and testing facility for experimental aircraft and weapons. Many conspiracy theories say it also shelters alien technology, including crashed UFOs, but that should be taken with a grain of salt.

Now that you know what’s probably going on in the place not even satellites are allowed to photograph, you can imagine what could happen if you ignore the warning signs surrounding the base or hang around too much around the perimeter.

Many mystery hunters that ventured around the perimeter of Area 51 have reported that “camo-dudes” in pickup trucks came around to keep an eye on them and their intentions.

The two Buell riders in the video did go through a similar situation, but this time, the “camo-dudes” took action and held the two at gunpoint while being checked for weapons or spying devices. Everything ended well, with the security letting the two go with only a warning.

According to the riders that posted the video, this was not the first time they hanged around the guarded perimeter. They were exploring the area before, time when they also discovered a sniper hidden in the bushes on a hill. This might be the reason why the guards responded so promptly this time.
