Acura NSX Abandoned in Dubai to Be Sold for Spare Parts

The Middle East is one of the worst places in the world to abandon a car, as the environment there will slowly, but literally, eat it alive. However, it seems that more and more supercars are heading for a slow death there.
The latest heart-baking example of this kind can be seen in the adjacent image. Yes, we are talking about an Acura NSX, which has been abandoned in the proximity of a dumpster in Dubai. The case of the vehicle was made public earlier this year and now new information has surfaced.

It seems like the widow of the man who is supposedly the former owner has sold it to a dealer for just under $7000, as Motoring Middle East reports.

We don't know the exact condition of the car (you really can't rely on photos), but it seems that the dealer has no intention to bring it back to life. Instead, the car will be dissembled and sold for parts. This is not the latest version of the car, as it comes with a five-speed manual instead of a six one and uses pop-up headlight, but this doesn't make things less sad.

Want to know what's even more sad? it looks like there was someone who wanted to buy the car, but got to it one day after the dealer did.

We asked the aforementioned source to try and reach the dealer and maybe save the car. You can head over to their Facebook page in order to lend a click.
