We'll start by advising you not to take this as a show car - next month, you'll be able to see it taking part in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill.
The engineers started with a body-in-white in order to make sure that the end result is competitive. The vehicle comes with a full list of safety equipment, which includes a full roll cage, Bride Gardis III race seat, OMP competition steering wheel, Schroth safety harness, Brockway Engineering D Gauge digital OBD2 gauge and Braille lightweight battery.
The exterior changes include a Baja Designs LED lighting system, which will probably prove to be very useful during long winter night runs, a THR-W-designed front splitter and an APR GTC-200 rear spoiler.
The list of tech goodies also includes an AEM intake, a custom AEM/120 Racing exhaust with DEI heat shields, a H&R suspension, as well as Enkei RPF1 wheels using BF Goodrich R1 tires and, of course, the Acura ILX competition pack.
