Us movie-going lads around the office firmly believe that Tom Hardy is the next big action star. He can be both violent and kind, vicious and caring, traits which landed him some cool roles over the years.
Tom will forever be remember as the man who played mercenary Bane to perfection in The Dark Knight Rises. There, he witnessed the madness that is the tumbler, a very real tank-like vehicle born out of Christopher Nolan's imagination.

Now though, Tom Hardy is playing an even bigger movie role, that of Mad Max.

Tom recently got the chance to sample an altogether different type of car, one with a bit more luxury than the famous Ford Falcon V8. Audi UK put at his disposal an RS5 Cabriolet, which the British actor enjoyed to the fullest with the roof down, even though the weather was against him.

Before you take at the video below, we figured we should mention a couple of more details about the actor’s career, this way we’ll know how much of a driver he really is. For instance, we’ve recalled the actor's role in Guy Ritchie’s London gangster film, RocknRolla. Hardy played the role of gay gangster Handsome Bob.

Say what you wish, but the actor has come a long way from being that guy to the roles he’s getting nowadays. On the other hand, the movie clearly was a blast, and that epic scene when he’s talking to One Two (played by Gerard Butler) is just hilarious. There’s epic Guy Richie sort of realism that just can't pass unnoticed to any person watching the film.

And for the haters who will mention Hardy’s problems in the past, we’ll remind them he’s as sober as they get nowadays. The actor did battle addictions to alcohol and crack cocaine in his early-to-mid-20s, but all those issues are long gone. He entered rehab and has been sober since 2003.
