Acer liquid E Ferrari Smartphone Available Soon

The liquid E Ferrari smartphone, the world's most exclusive smartphone, as ACER calls it, will soon become available in Ferrari stores, including store.ferrari.com.

The liquid E Ferrari special edition is an exclusive latest generation smartphone from Acer. It offers a unique combination of fine detail, great performance and quality materials. It fits perfectly with the spirit of racing, which brings together powerful performance and design excellence," Ferrari says in a statement.

The phone, developed by ACER, will be powered by an underclocked 768MHz Snapdragon 8250 CPU and Android 2.1 operating system. It features a high-resolution 3.5 inch touchscreen, a 5MP camera with autofocus and geo-tagging and comes with the Ferrari badge with carbon fibre detailing snapped on the back. The phone comes weighs 135g, is 115 mm in height, 64 mm in width and 12.75 mm in depth.

liquid E Ferrari has been designed to be reminiscent of Ferrari's Formula 1 legacy, with the microphone resembling air intakes seen on the sides of F1 cars. The uniqueness of phone can further be enhanced by choosing Ferrari wallpapers for the home page. A special set of ringtones bringing to life Ferrari engines can also be used.

It comes with Acer Media Player widget, Facebook, MySpace, Twidroid, Spinlets and Fooz Creator.

Acer also offer accessories to match, like the Elite Bluetooth earset with echo cancellation and automatic volume adjustment and 16GB microSD.
