With all these drop-dead gorgeous automobiles first responders get to drive in Dubai sometimes it feels like you almost want to be the bad guy for a change. Sure, that would be quite a bad idea considering the strict laws UAE is living by. Nevertheless, we can’t help but wonder how it feels to be pulled over by a 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom. Yep, this is the last luxury limousine to join the eccentric collection.

Phantom, Rolls-Royce Phantom. May I see your license and registration, please?

I mean really, think of it. It’s like they ask you to do a minor wrong thing, just to take a ride with that beautiful car. Question is, would they take you to the police headquarters with it, or this one is rather for high-speed chases?

Anyway. The first images with the Rolls leaked during the weekend, as the car is currently on display at Yas Mall. The hundreds-thousand-dollar ride was unveiled during the Golf Cooperation Council (GCC) Traffic Week. It was with this occasion the Abu Dhabi Police launched a new campaign “Your Choice Determines Your Destiny”. The new slogan outlines the same traffic principles the festival was initially created for, personal responsibility is extremely important for reducing traffic accidents.

The regular traffic rules, such as abiding laws, not exceeding speed limits, maintaining a safe distance between vehicles and paying attention to the roads as opposed to the cellphone, all together should lower the rate of auto incidents.

All good so far, just that we still can’t quite figure out how driving some of the fastest vehicles on the planet helps razing awareness on traffic safety. Let us not forget that the Rolls-Royce Phantom in question is the newest to join the rare car-fleet, but far from being the most expensive or the fastest for that matter. Just think of the Ferrari FF, the Aston Martin One-77, Bugatti Veyron or McLaren MP4-12C.

Like we said, sometimes it almost feels like you want to steal a soda from a local market just because you might be picked up by one of these rare breeds.

Editor's note: our jokes on stealing things still remain simple jokes, because we all know that the eccentric car fleet is rather a thing Dubai is using to impress tourists. They most likely won't really transport bad guys with it.. Still kind of cool though.
